Dear 2017.

Dear 2017,

We need to talk.

At the beginning of a new year I usually feel the same, I make some resolutions and break them and life carries on. However this year I’m scared to move forward to 2018. It’s like when you have a boyfriend who cheats but you’re scared to leave him. That’s how I feel about 2017. A lot happened in 2017 and it wasn’t a good year for me and I should want to move on but I’m scared to leave.

Terrible things happened in 2017 like bombings, shootings, Donald Trump and his twitter account and Grenfell Tower. However good did come from this year. Same sex marriage in Australia, La la land read as best picture instead of Moonlight and Beyonce bringing more beautiful children into the world!

I did lose friends this year, friends who I thought would always be their for me but I also made some. I went to Spain and travelled all around the country. I went to my first concert and I hit milestones on my instagram account.

Obviously a few difficulties arised. The 9 year aniversery of my Grandma’s death came and that was especially hard. School more difficult and I realised that I’ll have to think about my future soon.

So this year has been a rollercoaster of emotions but 2018 is our clean slate. I hope you all stick to your resolutions and if you don’t believe in them, good for you♡  It starts on a Monday so we all have a new year, new week and a new day.

Good luck!

Christmas Gift Guide

Hi guys!

I’m sorry I’ve been quite late with my Christmas blog posts but I’m starting with a Christmas Gift Guide. This might be quite a feminine gift guide because I am a girl and I obviously don’t know many gifts for boys but I’ll try and sneak a male blog post in for the lads 😉

  1. A Spa Weekend or Trip

This may be for someone with a bigger budget or a main gift for a mum or dad or other relative. I asked my mum what she’d want and she said this would be a great present.

2.  Paris: Through A Fashion Eye

I would love this for Christmas! I glanced past it when I was shopping in the Bentall Centre and I fell in love. After I came back I saw it made its way onto Freddy My Love’s gift guide and I was thrilled I wasn’t the only person who adored this book!

3. Hobby Craft Planners

I love planners! Since I was a child I adored stationary and now I’m older the stationary evolved with me. In the summer I went to Hobby Craft and spotted these gorgeous planners. I had seen similar planners in Kikki K but for a lot more money so if you purchase these you’d get a great planner for a great price.

4.  Polaroid Camera

Polaroid Camera’s are great presents! They are great keep sakes and you don’t need to upgrade models every year. If you don’t know what a Polaroid Camera is, it is a camera which you take photos on and they automatically print out. The downside to it is you must buy the paper to fill it which can be very expensive if you regularly take photos on it.

5. Marble Makeup Brushes

I’ve asked for these because they are so gorgeous! The price is so good because I searched and searched for good quality and a good price. I almost gave up hope until I found these on Flamingo London. The price is amazing and I’m really hoping I get these.

6. Wilko Rose Gold Mirror

This is another gift I’ve put on my own list because it is very pretty and a great price. There’s a long story to this so get ready! I first was desperate to get a light up mirror with singular bulbs around it. However I heard it wasn’t good quality and searched and searched until I found this beauty! It is also a dupe for the Boots Mirror because you save £9.99 on!

7. Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar

This is quite a small but I think it would be great for a Secret Santa gift or if you have a low budget. It lasts a long long time and has the iconic scent of Snow Fairy and I’m obsessed with it!

8. Rose Gold Tangle Teezer

I loveeee Tangle Teezer’s! My Auntie bought me one for Christmas 3 years ago and they’re amazing!! Mine has lasted for the 3 years I’ve owned it and I only use Tangle Teezer’s now. This one is especially beautiful because it’s rose gold but there is many other colours.
